Finally. I have my Tadaaaaa moments.....what would it be?

Yes, the Christel Seyfarth Shawl. Love the colours, love the texture...it was so much worth the waiting, the work, the money.

Easter eggs ~ Paas haken

Zelf had ik het niet gedacht, maar vorige week ben ik toch begonnen met het haken van paaseitjes. Ik vond deze erg stylish, je haakt grannies om een eitje heen en voor je het weet ben je verslaafd...

Peeep! Wat dit vogeltje komt doen...misschien op de eitjes passen? 

De Paashaas mag ook dit jaar niet ontbreken. Ik maakte hem van Jarbo garen in de maat XL. 
 

En natuurlijk ben ik nog met dit grote project bezig, de XL sjaal van Christel Seyfarth. Inmiddels ben ik bezig aan de 18e bloem, dat moet gevierd worden!

Schroom niet een berichtje achter te laten, dat vind ik altijd leuk. Fijne dag!

Happy knitting and crochetting

It was getting colder, so I had to make a mitten:

 Still need to make the right mitten...right?

 And a snuggly warm blanket, really gorgeous yarn, really special. The name is Lemon Merengue, I would call it Crema Catalana or Vanilla Cream...Look at the label, my label is on it (took me quite a while to sew it but it's worth the time).

  

New project:

WIP: Christel Seyfarth Shawl, currently I am on the 13th flower. Colours are really stunning, I know one day I will finish it...

Another blanket yes, a Revlie blanket, this one is the Grey bobble flower one. Since I lost some of my hooks and yarn in the train, I am stucked with its progress...but I will keep hooking on.

New Monkey!

Finally time to write something. Recently, I started my second monkey
using a pattern from Annita Wilschut (zijmaakthet), the wool I bought at Weldraad. I am really happy how it comes out till know:

He looks a bit weird though, I believe he will be beautiful once finished..

Now I am working on his second leg:

I like the colours, it is a bit retro. So he will be my Science Rocket Retro-Monkey.

And this is my fair-isle till know, it is a bit slow, since I am working on 4 projects at the same time...Besides, I use my own technique, so not the fast two-handed way but a more one-handed method. Still I will learn it one day maybe.

It is the Cornflower Scarf from Christel Seyfarth. As chocolate for the mind...

Got recently two kits from the fantastic designer Christel Seyfarth. Stunning design, I am just missing the time to finish all these projects...but there will be one day I'll walk around with the Cornflower shawl and the Beach rose Scarf...
